Songs With ‘Near’ In The Title

Whenever we hear the word ‘near’, it usually means being close to or around someone or something of value. Sometimes its meaning is not as literal as it may appear, it may have a deeper meaning, but it all depends on the context in which a person decides to use the word.

In the world of music, artists like to flaunt their expertise in their art (music). They make use of word plays, puns, metaphors, etc. All these devices make their work unique.

So yes! In music, words, more often than not, are not taken for their literal meanings, there is usually something deeper to the superficial definition of the word(s). Let’s take a peek at some songs with ‘near’ in the title and what they mean.

5 Songs With “Near” In The Title:

1. Near By Jason Crabb

Not only do we need to be familiar with the Scriptures that “Near” is built on, but we also need to know that it is true. Even if you feel that you’re on your own and that your prayers aren’t being answered, the truth is that God’s Word is alive and well. His promises hold up. He will always be there for you. He will never leave you. You can count on him to be there for you at all times.

Knowing what’s true and knowing that God is always with us is a huge relief from the loneliness that comes with being on our own. Truth triumphs over emotions every time.

Truth triumphs over our feelings or the spiritual or emotional damage we’ve suffered as a result of a storm. We are cherished by our heavenly Father.

He tells us to acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will guide our steps. It’s wonderful to know that God is always there for us, even in the midst of all that we face. As a bonus, it’ll help you stay organized.

The truth of God’s Word can help us when we’re feeling weak. Everything is subordinate to the truth.

As a result of this, you’ll soon be praising yourself for the fact that you know God exists. We are here because God breathed life into dust. God, who threw the stars into the sky and knows the number of hairs on our heads, is a God of infinite power.

Right in front of you is Him. He has our best interests at heart, and we may rest easy knowing that. Knowing this, you must speak the truth over your life, no matter what it is you are going through or what circumstances you are in. God is close at hand. We can never be truly free unless we know the truth. God cares about our well-being.

2. Near Mrs. By LANCO

LANCO - Near Mrs. (Official Video)

We’ve come to expect strong wordplay, captivating lyrics, and an infectious melody from LANCO, and that’s exactly what we get in this song.

“Near Mrs.” is a clever title for a film about the many lovers you have to go through before you meet the one with whom your heart truly belongs. This song’s narrative style and laid-back tempo evoke images of simpler times and the search for a soul mate.

Each of the song’s verses depicts a squandered love that was never meant to be. The song’s charming quality and story-telling character are the most astounding aspects of this fantastic melody.

3. Near You Always By Jewel

Jewel - Near You Always

Many individuals are getting more and more familiar with the fear of surrender that comes with falling in love and giving yourself totally to someone else. Even if the person you’re giving yourself to appears to be completely deserving of your trust and dedication, it can be difficult to give yourself to them.

In my opinion, Jewel’s best song is “Near You Always,” a heartfelt song about falling in love. However, she does not appear to be able to slow down or regain her breath as she continues to plummet. “Warning” her lover, she tells him that if he continues to treat her well and make her feel this good, she will want to be with him all the time.

The bridge of “Near You Always” is another notable feature of the song. It sounds like it might be a completely new song, but it still works well in the context of this album. Note her usage of harmonics, as well. She’s a pretty good guitar player, in my opinion.

4. Near Wild Heaven By REM

R.E.M. - "Near Wild Heaven" (Official Music Video) [This Film Is On Version]

A look into what R.E.M. would have been like had Mike Mills been their frontman all along is provided by “Near Wild Heaven.” In comparison to Michael Stipe, Mills lacks charisma and mystique, and though his songs are exceptionally amiable they aren’t very original, they don’t exactly peek into an alternate universe.

When it comes down to “Near Wild Heaven,” it is a little more than a highly accomplished homage to the sunny music of the 1960s, with its joyful chord pattern and breezy Beach Boys harmonies.

Although the song doesn’t need to be heavy or strange, it stands out from other R.E.M. albums with Stipe as lead vocalist and primary lyricist because of its lack of suspense and subtext.

5. Near the Black Forest By Vanessa Daou

Vanessa Daou - Near The Black Forest

Concluding of our list of songs with near in the title is “Near the Black Forest” By Vanessa Daou. Daou is a vocalist with a relatively narrow vocal range, and her recent albums, such as ‘Make You Love’ and ‘Dear John Coltrane,’ have made her seem like a caricature of herself.

According to Daou, “Near the Black Forest” by Vanessa Daou is comparable to “Isobel” by Bjork. The song is an ode to a sexual need that harkens back to Germany’s mysterious Black Forest region, and it is reminiscent of the style of the horror film Suspiria, which was directed by Dario Argento (a terror tool in the film).

Clocks and winding pendulums are portrayed in Daou’s “Rite of Spring” as masculine cremators stroking the walls of a solitary house, which are likely the linings of a va**na. (which was probably concealed by a bush that hadn’t been cut).

The meaning of the title is self-explanatory, but the song’s greatest qualities are Jong’s attention to her cultural reference and her ability to conjure both an ancient ritual of sexual penetration and a contemporary narrative of feminine isolation.
