Top Songs With ‘Remember’ In The Title

It’s hard to believe that there are so many songs with the word “remember” in the title of the song. Regardless of the musical genre, this list contains songs with the word “remember” somewhere in the song’s title. Even though the word “remember” is included in the titles of the majority of the songs on this list, there is a great deal of variety in how each song is meant to be interpreted lyrically.

5 Songs With ‘Remember’ In The Title:

1. Remember This By NF

NF - Remember This (Music Video)

This is probably my best tack from NF yet. He went Godmode in this song. It would be difficult for me to give you a complete breakdown of this masterpiece since every single line in the song carries an important message (this is not an exaggeration!).

Instead, I’ll give a summary of the song.

If you know NF, you should be familiar with his slogan, ‘Real Music Till The Day We Die. That’s basically what this song is about. It is a packed message.

NF raps about being you and not trying to conform to another person’s image of you. Nobody has the right to tell you who you should be.

He also raps about how hate and fake friends come with fame and how it can leave you in a dark place. But regardless of all this, just be ‘real’ and not a people pleaser, be you!

2. I Will Remember You By Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran - I Will Remember You // Audio Edit // Video Music

When a loved one dies unexpectedly, we are thrown into a flurry of emotions. The song “I Will Remember You” by Ed Sheeran is a tribute to a loved one who has died.

He was surprised by the awful news. Ed realizes that the sunset is different, and the rain has begun to fall as if the world is mourning the loss of his mother. However, he prefers to “be a shoulder” to those who are unable to hold their tears in, rather than crying himself.

Ed’s thoughts are filled with memories of his time spent with this lovely soul as he tries to cope with his loss. He will always remember her laugh since she was always a beam of sunshine, even on the gloomiest of days.

Ed is frustrated by his inability to alter the course of events because he wishes he could turn back the hands of time. Her absence has left the “Earth less beautiful,” as he put it.

3. Remember This By Jonas Brothers

Jonas Brothers - Remember This (Official Video)

The song is a typical love song, full of metaphors indicating the singer’s loving admiration for the recipient. This is one of those situations where there is no guarantee that the two of them will be able to hook up again after tonight, for whatever reasons.

In light of the lyrics, it indicates that the performer and recipient met in a nightclub or some other public place. In any case, the singer appears to be entirely engrossed at the moment, kissing the person he’s singing to.

His message seems to be that they should make the most of this opportunity while they still have it by doing things that they will “want to remember” for the rest of their life.

4. Do You Remember” by Chance the Rapper ft? Benjamin Gibbard

Chance The Rapper - Do You Remember ( ft. DeathCab for Cutie)

“Do You Remember” by Chance the Rapper is divided into two parts? Chance’s reminiscences of the past provide the basis of the first verse and the choruses. A good example is Benjamin Gibbard’s chorus, which is built on the premise that time “disappears” swiftly in our youth and that clinging to an experience similar to the delight children experience during “summer” is a worthwhile pursuit.

Chance’s reminiscences in the first verse are based on events that happened just a few years ago, including “the same summer” that the movie Avengers: Endgame was released in theaters. Although the song’s chorus is set in the past, the song’s verses are more focused on the here and now.

The rapper’s recent rise into married family life is a significant element of the album on which this song appears (The Big Day). As a tribute to his wife and daughter, Chance sings the second verse of this song in which he reveals his “deep love” for them.

He says in this section of the song that despite being 26 years old, he “remembers the last summer of the teens” and “can’t recollect too many in between” – a reference to his adolescent years.

The song’s title is a little misleading, but that’s a telling statement in the context of this song. When everything is said and done, Chance’s lyrics are not focused on the past.

When it looks that they are, it is more in a metaphorical sense, such as in his presentation of the present as the past or being future-based, if you will.

5. Ed Sheeran, Em and 50-Cent – Remember the Name

Ed Sheeran - Remember The Name [ Music Video ] ft Eminem & 50 Cent

Even though the song’s title doesn’t sound like braggadocio, the song is about how proud the narrators are. The term “remember the name” is a method of conveying “honor my brilliance” indirectly. The narrator’s prominence in the music industry, as implied by the song’s title, is a major focus of the song, as evidenced by the lyrics.

However, the means through which people express themselves in this regard differ. Ed Sheeran uses the opportunity to reflect on his meteoric rise to stardom, recalling the days when no one expected him to be where he is now.

As for Eminem, he recalls his earliest days of trying to “shop a deal” (i.e., secure a record deal), but he focuses more on his superior poetry and his unwavering commitment to rap. For 50, he’s all set to talk about how he’s “blowing a check” (or spending a lot of money) right now with no regard for tomorrow, only to do it all over again the next day.

This is a good way to summarize the work of three separate artists: they each remind you of what they are all about. For Ed, it’s a step up the ladder. For Em, the song’s lyrics are amazing. And for 50, it’s a lot of money to spend on a flashy way of life. They do this to assist the listener in “remembering the name,” that is, to not lose sight of just how fantastic they are.
